We don't get to come as often as we'd like but this sure is a nice place to take someone on a date to. The restaurant has two levels and you can see the beach from almost anywhere you sit. Service and food are good. It gets pretty busy so try and make reservations if you can.

Casablanca was my first stop in Ft. Lauderdale. I was traveling alone and they made my first dining experience in Ft. Lauderdale memorable. The service was great and the food was delicious. Cute, cafe style tables looking out at the ocean. Just lovely!

Place is packed, and lines can be long for dinner.
Excellent food, but do not take reservations. They do accept reservations from your hotel concierge.

We had dinner here on our first night in Ft Lauderdale at the recommendation of the Concierge at Marriott's BeachPlace Towers. It was at the top of his short list for quality restaurants within walking distance. He was right. Their service and food are both outstanding. Our server - Jaime - was very helpful with our questions about the menu, friendly and frequently checking on us. We had a couple of their specialty mixed drinks - Tropical Mule & Casa Basil - and they both were very good. The parmesan bread they start you with is very tasty. For appetizers we had Phyllo wrapped baked brie and baby spinach & poached pear salad. Again both were very good. For entrees we had Eggplant Ravioli and New Zealand Rack of Lamb. Outstanding. The only item I though was a little pricey was the Lamb and it wasn't too bad. Highly recommend.

We dined here a few times during our stay. Food is delicious and fresh and creative. Consistent throughout the years as a top notch restaurant.
