It's a pretty park but there are other places I like better in the nearby area. There was nice shade along most of the trails which was nice and a great view from the observation tower. There is a trail along the creek and it also looks to the Gulf. I didn't seen anything really interesting but it was a nice way to spend an hour

Hey if you have dogs and are looking for a place to walk and get them in the water than this is the place but if you are looking for a nature trail, this place is okay.
The trail are poorly marked and its a nice small park but nothing great.
Like I said if you have dogs than this is a great place.
If you have never been you are not missing anything really but if you have nothing to do than its an okay place.

Remember to bring bug spray before taking the walk! Great views of the gulf along the boardwalk. The sand is like walking on a beach; so bring old walking shoes. $2 fee to park. Does have a look out tower for great views; so bring your camera!

Looking for a place to stretch your legs and take in some great views at the same time? This place is it! The boardwalk winds through foliage and wetlands until you arrive at a look-out tower with views of the Gulf. The views at the top were amazing and you could see for miles. Need to note however, that the weathered tower was not as sturdy as I would have wanted. It did shake some at the top, so I wasn't up there long. As we headed back, we found the large fishing pier extending about a hundred yards out into the water. A popular place to to cast your fishing pole and take in the beauty around you. There is a power plant situated next to this park, and rather close to the pier but the boardwalk takes you in the opposite direction so it really wasn't that much of an eyesore.
