We've gotten delivery from Nini's for a while, and enjoyed the food, but we had never eaten in the restaurant until tonight. The place is small, about five tables, but it's constantly busy, particularly with take out and delivery orders.
Despite the activity, our server, Allie, was attentive (and delightful). Our salads were fresh and had a variety of different veggies, and the house creamy Italian dressing was very tasty. The rest of our food was served piping hot. The Mozzarella bread was accompanied by a fresh-made marinara.
We ordered a Chicken Parmigiana pizza. The pizza was cooked perfectly. The crust was just thick enough to be a little doughy, but crisp on the outside. It was topped with just enough sauce, a generous amount of chicken and lots of Mozzarella and Parmigiana cheese.
We also enjoyed the floor show. I have never seen such a small place pump out so much good food. The phones never stopped ringing and a steady stream of folks stopped in to pick up.
If you're looking for a neighborhood Italian restaurant that serves tasty fresh-made food, Nini's is it.
