1st off - Service is VERY VERY slow....this was a buzz kill for sure. Visited over Labor Day weekend on Sunday and the restaurant was about 1/2 to 2/3 full. Drinks from the bar were also VERY slow (like 15-20 Minutes).

Biggest issue was that after ordering Lobster Mac (3 at our table) and waiting 20+ minutes....we get the news that it is not available and we need to choose new entrees. This seemed really odd to me....worse was that no manager came over - no one said anything...no offer of anything.....just very matter of fact and OPPS!

I thought that the whiskey ribeye sounded interesting and gave it a shot. It was AWFUL! The whiskey had not been cooked down and was very potent. I could not eat it all and left most....most places will ask if you liked it when you leave most on the plate....not this place...nothing. Excellent ribeye ruined with whiskey....I assume the prep was not right. Perhaps not "cooked in" enough. It was like cutting a bite of steak and dipping it in Whiskey.....uggg!

Other dishes at the table were good - the apps we had were tasty....so not all bad.

Complete lack of management was a turn off....Not sure what Food Network was thinking on this one. May try again in the future....but unlikely.

After checking several reviews we decided to skip the ocean/bay front dining and give Cafe Largo a try, the best decision we made! Our waiter Jose was great and tended to our every request. What was really nice is that one of the other waiters who walked past our table, asked if we needed anything. The food is unbelievable we both had an appetizer, scallop special and mozzarella balls, fantastic. The soup is great, garlic knots fantastic. I had another appetizer for dinner the stuffed mushrooms, they were great. My hubby had chicken parm, the chicken was fresh and awesome. The side of pasta was with garlic and oil, done just right!!! If you are looking for great food, this is the place to go. Some of the other reviews complained about the service, granted we were off season and the place was not crowded, but even if it was, stay and wait the food is well worth it.

We were thinking this place would be special since it was on DDD. But it was so disappointing. It was a walking advertising restaurant for DDD. Our waitress forgot about our drinks, the food was not timed correctly and it just wasn't good. Will not go to again.

Do not order the chicken marsala! Dry and lacking in taste. It was more like chicken in brown gravy. No choices on the accompanying pasta so it was basic spaghetti.
I'm not sure what Guy Fieri ate here but I must have missed out.
