1st off - Service is VERY VERY slow....this was a buzz kill for sure. Visited over Labor Day weekend on Sunday and the restaurant was about 1/2 to 2/3 full. Drinks from the bar were also VERY slow (like 15-20 Minutes).
Biggest issue was that after ordering Lobster Mac (3 at our table) and waiting 20+ minutes....we get the news that it is not available and we need to choose new entrees. This seemed really odd to me....worse was that no manager came over - no one said anything...no offer of anything.....just very matter of fact and OPPS!
I thought that the whiskey ribeye sounded interesting and gave it a shot. It was AWFUL! The whiskey had not been cooked down and was very potent. I could not eat it all and left most....most places will ask if you liked it when you leave most on the plate....not this place...nothing. Excellent ribeye ruined with whiskey....I assume the prep was not right. Perhaps not "cooked in" enough. It was like cutting a bite of steak and dipping it in Whiskey.....uggg!
Other dishes at the table were good - the apps we had were tasty....so not all bad.
Complete lack of management was a turn off....Not sure what Food Network was thinking on this one. May try again in the future....but unlikely.
