We are a family of four (kids 8 & 12). We spent two nights on the Wild Thing and went out for an all day sale.

If you are a family that enjoys the outdoors I highly recommend this experience. The boat has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is fantastic in the heart of Key West. Our boys loved the experience of staying on their own boat.

The highlight of the trip was the all day sale. Unfortunately, we had to reschedule due to weather but communication was good and we were able to get out on a day with good weather. Sail was fantastic. Crew was great and did a fantastic job with the kids. Great day snorkeling and swimming in places without the crowds that you get with the larger boats. Highly recommend KW Sailing Adventures.

My husband had set up the sunset cruise weeks prior to our arrival. We also had an email confirmation. When we arrived at the dock i don't think Captain Al even knew who we were. He was pleasant but asked what we were there for. The day was too windy to go out, which we understood, but he did not contact us by email or phone to let us know that. I would not use this charter again.

This remains a surprise to me All of our charters clearly state that our clients call the day before they arrive and then an hour before they show up at the dock. I am sorry if I inconvenienced these folks that is not our norm after 24 years or we would not be here 24 years. We do not have an office at the dock that's why we like the contact info before they arrive. We would be glad to give them a sail at their convenience. Key West is basically 150 miles 'at sea' which makes the weather unpredictable and why we ask for arrival contact. We remain ready to sail these folks with good normal communication Capt Albert

One of the best long-weekends yet! We arrived to be met by Capt. Al and a full cooler of drinks on board of the 38’ O’Day – Obsession. The boat was nice and clean and well appointed, very comfortable for two couples. There was always crew around but never obvious to us unless we needed something and they were more than happy to oblige.

Our sailing experience was with the famous Captain Ryan Bennett of “Wicked Tuna” fame and he let us do most of the sailing and giving us local insider tips on the water and channels.

Oh and the location is superb! Blocks away from the heart of Duvall, on the water and steps away from great restaurants and bars – the Schooner Warf being one. Make sure to check out the Cuban Coffee Queen for breakfast and you are walking distance to Pepe’s and BO’s fish shack – two local traditions.

All-in-all a great experience and wonderful people – highly recommend this outfit.

We would unreservedly recommend these guys for a yacht charter. We booked from the UK with no difficulty at all. Captain Albert is the owner of the business and he is extremely easy to deal with by email and telephone. We chartered a boat with crew for half a day and had a mini adventure from Key West out into the Gulf of Mexico. Brian, our skipper, and Jerry, the first mate, were excellent company and gave us the perfect balance between time to relax on our own and information and stories about where we were sailing and Key West in general. We went out on our first full day in Key West and it was a brilliant way to relax into the Key West state of mind for the rest of our trip. Bring your own beer and Captain Albert will supply the sandwiches! We will certainly come back.

Staying on these yachts is the best way to experience the true heart of Key West which, in my opinion, is the historical and surviving nautical, waterman, sailing, fishing and water adventure that thrives in this Historic Seaport. We stayed on the Obsession, a 37' O Day monohull sloop which is older but is well maintained. This vessel is fully functional and ready to sail. In fact I was very impressed with how well she did sail. Our crew was Capt. Joe and Mate Jordan who were great folks, very knowledgable and accommodating to our every request. My wife and I have sailed and boated the US East coast and Caribbean and vacationed around water for 25 years and this experience was one of the best. The dock is a 5-10 minute walk to most of the best restaurants, bars and main attractions yet very peaceful at night.
