I have been traveling to Key West and have stayed in several places, and I have to say this has been my favorite. We traveled to Key West and met our friends that also booked with The Almond Tree. We were all treated like family and honestly I didn't want to leave. First of all this is a 22 unit boutique hotel. It is perfectly located but tucked away when you are ready to wind down and you need some quite. The rooms are recently renovated and decorated so well and the rooms are very clean, absolutely no complaints in this department. Oh and the bed....one of the best I have ever slept on!
Trudy checked us into our room and was so helpful and sweet. I enjoyed meeting back up with her and talking about our stay. Bill, the owner, was on the property every morning and was there for the continental breakfast and was an absolute joy to speak with. We meet Shannon who my husband I and felt like we had known for years. She was so friendly and helpful, and we had plenty of good laughs with her at the complimentary happy hour. Then there is Brandon, where do I even start....We spoke with Brandon over the phone to make our initial reservations. He was so professional and so friendly I knew we were making the right choice. Then we had the pleasure of meeting him. Brandon honestly put our stay at the Almond Tree over the top. He was so helpful in making reservations for a couple activities we participated in and dinner reservations almost every night, along with helpful ideas on where to go. He is down to earth and an absolute great guy! Thanks to all the staff at The Almond Tree Inn, because of all of you, we will be returning.

This locally owned boutique hotel is a gem. We use a lot of VRBO and Air BNB locations when we travel, but in Key West, those options were near the airport...NOT where we wanted to be. We rented a suite at the Almond Tree and it had every amenity we could have asked for: coffee maker, refrig, microwave, sitting area (inside and out), and a pool and hot tub. The linens, towels, and toiletries were all of high quality. A complimentary breakfast was offered on the covered patio by the pool, and offered a wide variety of options. A "Happy Hour" with wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres was also provided. The service was attentive, with the owner being on premise every morning to greet us with coffee! We used a car share service from the airport (under $20) and walked everywhere. The Conch Train Station is next door, sunset at Mallory Point is a 15 minute walk, the Hemingway House is around the corner, and all of the honky tonk bars that Key West is known for are within walking distance. We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations, the location, and the service. Thanks, Bill and Almond Tree staff!

Room Tip: Some rooms and their outdoor seating are open to the pool. Late sleepers may want to request room away from pool or on 2nd floor.

Staff was great and super friendly. Bed was one of the most comfortable I've experienced at a hotel. Every detail was taken care of and much appreciated. I will definitely be back next time we are down in Key West!

If you are looking for that gem of a place this is it. All the extra service things you would want. The hotel is small(22) rooms but are real clean and nice. The staff is amazing especially Brandon. They go over the top for you and treat everyone like family. They have a happy hour everyday that we looked forward to everyday. Any reservations we needed were taken care of and great knowledge of the whole city. I have vacationed in a lot of places but because of Almond Tree and Brandon this is my top choice. I will be back to see my Key West Family soon.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Almond Tree In for a week in April, 2018. Although we were booked in a small front room, we were quickly upgraded to a larger room in the back first floor.
The grounds are just lovely. The staff is gracious and accommodating. The rooms are beautifully furnished and service is perfect.
There is a wonderful breakfast and a happy hour daily.
Key West is a marvelously eclectic place and the Almond Tree Inn is a lovely respite among the clamor of the city.
We could not have asked for more.

Room Tip: Front rooms are more convenient, back rooms more private and quieter
