We enjoyed our stay at the Amara Cay. The pool was large and heated. The tiki bar had great drinks and food. The room was clean and comfortable. We also had an excellent breakfast included in the price.

The service was just below expectations. The rooms are SMALL! Don't let them tell you differently. You can only fit 2 people comfortably. One bathroom for a $500 a night room!! Seriously. We had 5 people and it was just awful space. One bed, one sofa sleeper. Just don't' go with a large family and you may have a better experience. You can't cook so don't pay any attention to the kitchen. That is a lie. Only a small portable burner. I was just disappointed. I expected more for a price. The beach is just not swimming. So laying around is ok but don't promise your kids they'll build castles - not here. Its for adults for sure - not family friendly or kid friendly at all. This would have been a huge help in a review before we booked. The manager was not onsite and the last morning there she showed up. She did give a $100 credit for the bad service, but yeah, not enough.

Not worth the money we pay. The place is small and cozy but the amenities were not provided as promised. Breakfast in room was a total disaster, presented as a take out meal, not as a resort service. Restaurant was closed.

Amara Cay was the nicest resort I have ever stayed at. It was our first time there and it certainly won't be our last! The staff was so friendly and accommodating!! The pool was beautiful and the restaurant/TIKI bar was soooo good and FUN!!! See you next year Amara Cay!!!!

We will be back! Close to scuba dive center, Key Dives, Robbies, great pool, beverages and food at the pool were convenient, shuttle to and from wherever you want to go, free breakfast, gift shop, the true resort experience.
