It does not look any different from the other spots along the Overseas Highway, and it was a purely impulsive stop. The Arnold Palmer, served in a mason jar, was made with real tea and lemonade - no rebottled mixture. We both had coconut shrimp basket - one with a side of fresh, crispy and hot onion rings and one with sweet potato fries - hot from the fryer - and hushpuppies which were sweet, hot and non greasy. The shrimp were plentiful - about 10 in the basket - hot, crispy and the pina colata sauce was outstanding. Our waitress was friendly and willing to stay and chat and answer our questions about the area and recent hurricane. We were delighted to have found such a good lunch on a whim. Listening to the descriptions of homemade asparagus soup, shrimp chowder, etc. that were being given to other tables made us wish we could come back another day! And - best part - it was all reasonably priced!
