We are a family of four, staying with our friends, a family of 6. We hired the two villas at Pines and Palms for 10 days.

The villas have Ocean front views, which are outstanding- great to watch the sunrise from the villa balcony or the end of the boat moorings.

The site is peaceful and never felt too busy, whilst the bar staff - Jacob mainly served us - were all friendly and helpful, with tips on where to go, be it for food or watersport activities.

The kids - 9 to 16 - had a great time around the pool and we all enjoyed hiring the paddle boards and kayaks.

In the evenings, we would lay on the loungers in front of the Ocean chatting away with a few beers or glasses of wine - absolute bliss!

Our villa was cleaned everyday, beach towels were complementary and the grounds are well maintained.

Accommodation, whilst a little dated (my only niggle), was very clean and the beds very comfortable.

Overall, a perfect place to come for rest and relaxation, great views and to be at one with the sea.

Stayed here one night on a short Keys trip. Our room was a small cottage on the waterfront, excellent views and short walk to the pool/bar. Reminds me of the Keys in the 60's on the outside but rooms have been remodeled and are in good shape. The parking was the only issue and can be tight at certain times of the day but otherwise a very enjoyable stay. Will likely stay again next time.

Room Tip: Pay the extra to get on the water!

Pines and Palms was the perfect place for our family in the Florida Keys. Centrally located it offered easy access to all our favorite places.
The resort staff was pleasant and helpful. One even refused a tip when offered! We had access to the beach, pool, bar, SUP's and kayaks. We had daily housekeeping service, such a wonderful surprise after a day of fun. Our two bedroom cottage was older but so clean and well maintained.
Perfect for our three generation family.

We had an ocean front room, very pricy over 300 dollars, so had very high expectations. People are very friendly and the room is very nice looking. No question the view was beautiful! However, the AC unit was not central air and the entire room could not cool down with the wall unit. Bed was not comfortable and were overrun in the kitchen by ants. Would probably not do this again for the price.

When we arrived at the resort the weather was too bad to put our boat in the water. So we left it in the designated Boat Trailer Parking area at the Pines and Palms resort. Overnight our brand new 2016 Yamaha 150 boat motor was taken from the back of our boat. Bolts/cables cut and motor removed from the back of the boat, imagine our shock when we woke up at 5am to go fishing to find this! We called police and resort management. This was apparently part of a string of boat motor thefts along the keys that night. The police arrived promptly and we filed a report. No one from the resort showed up after calling twice. Needless to say our fishing trip was ruined. The resort management offered us 1/2 off of 1 day's stay ($166.00). We stayed 5 nights. Had to purchase a brand new motor, but by the time it was ready, our vacation was over. Please do not leave any items of value in or around this property! They are at risk of being stolen!! There are no security cameras anywhere....only live-feed webcams.

There is no water pressure, plan to spend at least 30 min in the shower....also the window unit A/C is soooo loud you can barely have a conversation while it's on.....and it runs all the time.
