We chose this place mainly because it was pet friendly and close to the beach. It is very clean, no bugs seen and for a pet friendly place, there was no signs of pet hair etc which is very important to me since I have dog and cat allergies. I do, despite my allergies, have a small dog and was able to bring her along. She loved it too! We enjoyed the nice warm pool with spa jets, which felt great after a long day. The beach is across the street and very clean and not overly crowded. My husband even saw a manatee swim by. We arrived on July 4th, so we did the fireworks cruise on the pirate ship out of John's Pass. That was awesome watching all the fireworks from the water and my 5yr old grand-daughter couldn't believe she was able to go on a pirate ship! Everything you could need is provided from dishes to beach wagon and gear. We stayed in the Octopus cottage and at first I thought we'd never fit all the unnecessary stuff we brought but everything fit just fine and there was enough room for 2 adults, 1 child and 1 dog. We also enjoyed being within 5min walk to the boardwalk at John's Pass. Every night we walked over and ate some candy or ice cream. Definitely will come back here again!
