We entered and there were 2 other people seated. The inside looks old, outdated and not clean. I was outvoted and we stayed. Outside looked similar. We should have left.
Very friendly male server greeted us. Tried to order drink, a soda and one of the beers on the menu... He came back to say NO soda and only 1 of the listed beers?? I ordered iced tea and partner got the only beer, which he did enjoy. Menus somewhat dirty/sticky. Special of 2 beef tacos with rice and beans. Chips and salsa came. Chips were okay at best, but somewhat greasy and salsa was actually tasty.

The two soft tacos had grizzled greasy deep fried? Pieces of Meat within soft tacos. I did not even venture a taste. Totally unappetizing and inedible. The rice was tepid, at best.. The beans were in a small dish and appeared to be warmer ... From a micro?? Regardless, I literally ate Nothing. I honestly just wanted to leave.
The ceiling had water stains and dark dirt/stains or ?? Near the vents. The chairs and tables were so unclean looking. My partner ate most of his meal... But he'd eat almost anything lol. A different type taco mix. Server did not ask why mine went uneaten and I didn't say anything ( it was cheap and I just wanted to leave and go get something I Could eat).
I'd never return anyway.
Keep driving by this one.

Friendly atmosphere, awesome service and food. We tried many Mexican restaurants in Florida and this one tops. Chips and salsa very good.
Tacos very good. Favorite meal is chimichanga.

We have gone here so many times and raved on the food. This year after a couple visits I'm done. This year the waitresses checked their phone or looked in the mirror every couple minutes. They were out of tequila for margaritas but sent someone for some. I tried something different this time instead of the burrito but not as the menu listed the item. GO somewhere else because they don't care about the customer!

Don't drive right past this small Tamiami Trail locale. The food is very good, the prices are decent, and service was spectacular. Happy hour is 4-8 daily. The corn tortillas they use are wonderful, making many dishes do much better than the typical Mexican chain restaurant. My only negative was a lack of personality in some of the salsas that accompany the chips. Otherwise, enjoy!
