Excellent happy hour--delicious shrimp with eggplant, thin crust pizza, full size burger with homemade chips, caprese. Huge portions and well cooked and served at $5-6 each. Their lunch is also hearty and tasty. Wonderful mini dessert of mascarpone cheesecake with creme anglais.

Much more casual on the inside than it looks from the outside! Despite being situated in the expensive Waterside mall, this place is very reasonably priced.
The servers are pleasant and the food very good.

For such mixed reviews here...on an everyday Tuesday night in November...the restaurant was packed! We love shopping at Waterside and this is a good lunch, happy hour or dinner spot to add to a shopping experience.

We arrived with a reservation at 5pm and every table outside was full, being a tad warm we were fine with sitting inside. The bar was also packed, if your in a happy hour mode, sitting outside is a must, inside is more quiet & dinner-like.

We were seated immediately, large table for us two. Jacob & woman trainee were friendly & efficient without being rushing at all. We started with 2 glasses of Cabernet (9 oz pour) and the artichoke/spinach dip, both were "good" not fine dining by any means. Then the kale Caesar salad which was very tasty, then the mushroom ravioli and the pasta vodka, both were plentiful and "good". Warm bread and herbed flatbread was served with real butter. Our waters were refilled a few times.

Plenty of parking, convenient to Tamiami, Pine Ridge & Vanderbilt Beach, if your vacationing here. Our bill was $93 plus tip which was inline with the quality & quantity.

The only real negative we saw in the 1.5 hrs we were there, MOST of the inside employees (can't speak to outside employees & not our waiter) just stood around and talked to each other. They'd deliver a drink to their table or a salad then congregate again and talk...semi-loud and in-sight of patrons, some of which wanted their server but couldn't get their attention, they talked & laughed & flirted and had a good time. It was actually funny as these are 25-40 year olds not teenagers but they acted like one. No sight of a manager that hopefully would have directed them to either "do their jobs" or atleast get out of sight!

Anyways...we'd still return but probably eat/drink at the bar.

OMG, where do I start? From the packaged premixed drinks to mashed potatoes that also came from a box to the so-called "fresh" grouper that was warmed up and grossly overdone, the food was an absolute disaster. Avoid this place like the plague.
