Really nice park. Like most state parks in Florida it is maintained and doesn't cost a lot of money. There are all sorts of things to do. There is a boat ramp, a campground, you can rent kayaks. They also has grills and nice places to swim and fish,

Can't beat this state park for picnic or camping on the banks of Rockey Bayou. Facilites are clean and updated, the bayou is great for for all water activities.

We just stopped in for a day trip... The water was nice and quiet with sandy shores. The trails weren't stroller friendly but I was able to push mine thru.
Playground had baby swings and things to climb on.

Nice park. Very inexpensive. Garmin doesn't send you right there. You have to ignore garmin and keep going West about 1/2 mile to find the park. Nice quiet evening.

We stayed here for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend. Small campground, well maintained. New, clean, air conditioned restrooms and showers that are handicap accessible. There is also a laundry facility at the restrooms as well. Most campsites are gravel or concrete, but were decently sized. Campsites are not packed to tightly and are mostly private. All sites have clothes line posts however, they do not allow you to tie things to the trees. The campground is a short walk to the water. There is a decent looking boat ramp and truck/trailer parking. We saw a lot of people with their dogs in the campground, although, of course, the dogs are not allowed on the beaches.
