My family and I love to vacation in Orlando and have stayed at many different resorts in the area. Lake Buena Vista was by far the best! The staff was very friendly. The rooms were nice and clean. The pool with the pirate ship was so cool. My kids had so much fun going down the slide! The price for our stay was very reasonable. I will definitely stay here on future visits!
The only negative thing about the resort is no internet service in the rooms. But, it did keep my off the computer and I was able to enjoy my vacation rather than check emails.

This condo property was less than 2 years old. I found it on-line and booked a 1 bedroom suite. I requested a suite on a higher floor with a view of the fireworks at disney and got it. Also got a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite! Perfect location, 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport and 5 mins to Disney parks and 8 mins to Sea World and 10 mins to Universal. Parking was free and had both outside and covered. Had a complete kitchen with brand new Whirlpool appliances- smooth top stove, microwave, full size dishwasher, 4 slice toaster double kitchen sink with garburetor and even had a blender and beaters and 8 piece place setting of dishes and cutlery. 2 mins to the SuperWalmart. If you want higher end meat and fish products go to the Publix on International Drive across from the Gaylord Palms Hotel about 5 mins away. You are super close to Downtown Disney with the La Nouba show which is a must see and all the niteclubs or stores and the attached Pleasure Island. The parking is free and you can use transportation to go to the parks vs. paying $12/day at the park . The convenience store on the property had good small size basics such as dairy and cereal. Nice swimming pool and hot tub area with a pool bar - We didn't use, but it was very clean and lots of family's were there and their kids seems thrilled with the pirate ship attraction in the pool. Mall next door and 8 mins to other Premium Outlets. Costco is about 15 mins away, but has no liquor - but always great food and prices. If you prefer to eat in and make your own meals as we do, this is the best property we have stayed at for the price and that includes travel to New York, Palm Springs, West Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Wailea in Maui, Puerto Vallarta, Toronto, Vancouver. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to our family and friends.

The service at the hotel was wonderful,we very happy with all the friendly staff and the convience of having tickets there on sight instead of having to wait in the lines at the park .We also love the room our children did not want to leave because they had there own little home away from home.We love the location it was in the perfect spot easy to get to the theme parks, also had the best shopping outlet right in your back door. But what my family love the best was the awesome pool with the ship it was wonderful i will always stay there when i visit again.

We've just gotten back from our stay at LBV resort from 3/11/09 to 3/18/09. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were for the most part pretty clean although I did notice black mold in the grout of the master shower, the carpet did not look like it had been vaccumed very well, and probably the most discusting find was a thick yellow film on the floor and the toilet in the small bathroom, it looked as though someone had missed the toilet completely and it was never cleaned. I really wish they would have provided at least a broom in our room as that would have helped tremendously as we did not pay for housekeeping. They provided a mop but no broom? How are you suppose to mop if you can't sweep first? The carpet was a bit grimmy looking, if I would have had a crawling baby with, I def. would not have let her crawl on that floor! yuck!! We stayed in bldg. 2 so this may explain somethings as it is one of the older bldgs. They do need to do some minor fixing such as replace burnt out lightbulbs in our room, fix the glass closet door in the master bedroom that was broke completely off the track, fix a few dresser drawers that would not even open, and definately replace the carpet.. (doing this may even help with the musty smell) There were many positives too...the washer and dryer was great, the pools, location, restaurants, tv's in every bedroom. I would recommend this place to a friend but just not building 2
