Convenient/affordable location. The staff was friendly and always seemed to be busy working. King spa room was a mix of outdated and newly remodeled. The coil spring bed was tolerable for one night but rather soft and lumpy. Although it seemed like the jets had recently been replaced, the heavily scratched condition of the tub walls and the nicotine stained surface of 1980's rose colored faux marble tub and surround was not reassuring enough to find out if it even worked. Realizing that the white stains on the shower curtain were actually caulk from the recent and very good caulk job was a relief. They have great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Many metal items were rusty from Florida's humidity. Clean; except the floors. The safe wouldn't work. Well lit exterior at night... for a reason. There are drug dealers/drug users and prostitutes in the area, but they keep their activities mostly on the street/front sidewalk. This location is completely inappropriate for children. Some people might not like to smell marijuana every time they leave the room. Others will feel like they are in Jamaica. The very small pool looked very nice and clean, but the weekly renters and activity made the area uncomfortable. Dog walk: absolutely not usable and a serious health hazzard to patrons and their dogs. No one is maintaining the dog walk right now and it is literally and completely impossible to avoid the dog waste. Do not even walk into or near the dog walk area; go the opposite direction. The dog walk situation was an unexpected surprise considering the 'pet friendly' platform they use when they advertise. There is an audible beeping alarm from a neighboring business that will likely go off all night. Hours were spent trying to find a last minute, affordable, and suitable accomodations in Orlando and I feel that this location meet our under $200 want, needs and expectations at the time. Though I will likely plan better in the future, this was pretty good in a pinch for a one night situation. Unfortunately, I will likely spend more money at a better location in the future.
