A lovely little park for strolling through or just sit quietly and enjoy the day. Right across the street is another historic site in Ormond Beach, the Indian Burial Mound. A great site for watching shore birds, I often take photos here.

We discovered this delightful park while riding bicycles from the B&B we were staying at. The glimpses of history related by the display and surviving sculptures were a wonderful thing to learn about and see.

We found this quiet little park while looking for the Ormond Burial Mound. It had walking paths, a short pier, lots of concrete sculptures, a visitors shelter containing the history of the park and The Worlds Smallest Amphitheater. There is a small concrete structure at the waters edge that states, "a great place to enjoy the sun" and it actually was ! It is situated to block the prevailing winds and surround you with the morning sun. Sitting there you get a sense of what it must have been like for the family members that built all of the things that were then just part of their garden. By the way, the Ormond Burial Mound is right across the street !
