When I went to scout out the property before my recent wedding, the hotel staff was top notch -- they took me on a personal tour of the entire hotel and surrounding area, and answered all of my questions patiently. Our relatives who booked there were extremely pleased with all aspects of their stay.
In addition, the front desk staff and owner assisted me in plans to celebrate Father's Day with my 82-year-old dad. Their kindness and generosity went above and beyond. Thank you!

The location is just about perfect for that area. Everyone who works in this place is super-nice; from the maid who makes up your room to the people behind the desk as you walk in. The pool is very nice and so is the little bar on the patio right near the pool. So don't be turned off if your card key doesn't work every now and then; your room looks as if it's seen better days, like maybe 25 years ago or so; the rug is a little worn, the bathroom fixtures can use a severe upgrading, the tiling in the shower area should be replaced and the whole area regrouted; bathtub drain should be cleaned so you're not standing in dirty water, yours or probably someone else's. But the toilet works, as does the sink facets and air conditioner. And so does the ice machine in the lobby area. So get some ice, make yourself a nice drink, sit on your patio, and enjoy the music. You're on vacation. Chill out. Oh, the restaurant upstairs serves breakfast and dinner. Never made it for dinner but had a couple of breakfasts up there...always good. I'd definitely go back to this place.

Dear Guest
Thank you for staying with us at Seaspray. We are an older hotel in South Florida. You are absolutely correct when you say - make a nice drink, sit and enjoy the music on your patio. We have upgraded most of the rooms and some rooms are yet left to be upgraded. We are sorry you didn't make it for dinner at the rooftop ocean view restaurant but glad you enjoyed our breakfast. We thank you again for staying with us and we look forward to having you back in one of our newly upgraded rooms.

Decent hotel, stayed on a Saturday night. Location is great with a access to the beach out the back door. Hotel itself is a little dated but it served the purpose of a night to sleep and shower. Pool was clean, needs refinishing, big chunks coming off the bottom. Hope you like terrible entertainment in the bar area, best thing about it was when they stopped at 830pm. I would stay here again because of the cost and location to Blue Heron Bridge where we scuba dive, but would not spend a vacation here. Its a value hotel, just keep that in mind and you will be good!

Spent the weekend with friends who were staying at the Marriott ocean pointe so we always try to stay nearby. This was our first visit to the SeaSpray. We arrived into town about 1130 so just stopped to see what the availability was like to get in our room. The desk clerk literally laughed out loud extensively and said "it's not ready". Great. Tell me what time to come back! She said about 130. Upon checking into our room we were disappointed that it was the second floor overlooking the front entryway. My husband called to see if there was any availability of rooms ocean side. After 15 mins of "checking" they called back to say "no, sorry". I was surprised that we really didn't hear any street noise, though. And as a side note I never passed another soul on our floor or elevator the entire weekend. Maybe everyone ventured somewhere else...

The bed was comfy, the space was fine for what we needed. Didn't spend much time there. Two major things I would expect in any hotel room - clocks and tissues - are not provided.

Saturday we left the room and took the "do not disturb" sign off the door but apparently you need to turn it over to the "service room" side. So we got back and the room hadn't been cleaned. The bath towels barely dry your body after a shower so I immediately called for 3 SETS of towels (wash cloths, hand and bath). After both of us had taken our showers the man arrived at the door with 3 bath towels only. Got tired of waiting. Oh and the shower had more water coming out of the faucet than the shower head.

The bathroom is sufficient but vast empty space where they could certainly place some shelves or something to place all the toiletries.

Friday evening our friends joined us at the rooftop bar for cocktails. We told at least 3 people we weren't eating, just a cocktail. Most of the wait staff doesn't seem to understand English so we had a couple mis translations. Very few people there at happy hour time.

Sat we walked around the pool and tiki bar. Some genius has made the outside so chopped up you can't get from one to the other. Entering the pool deck from the lobby you walk one direction to the pool. Then if you want to go to the bar you walk all the way around the deck to enter. You can leave there through the driveway or walk back around to get to the lobby. Seems like it would be a nice open space that would be easier to navigate if it weren't all bordered off.

We saw a handwritten sign stapled to a tree to "join the party from 4-8" on Saturday. We didn't but didn't see any takers milling around. And there's a gentleman standing in front all morning Sunday trying to get people in for breakfast. Maybe if they made a few upgrades they could afford some real marketing.

Nice enough place to crash but don't know if we'll go back.

Yes it's right on the beach. Yes it's on beautiful Singer island. But it's still $200 a night and it's a dump. The rooms are old and tattered. The hallways are ugly. The bathrooms are mildewy. They clean, but with so much ammonia you cant breathe if you get on the elevator right after they've done the floor. They screwed up our reservation coming and going. We reserved a long time in advance and confirmed two weeks ahead and all was well. When we got there they didn't have our reservation. Luckily there was a room available or we would have been out of luck. They later said it was under another name, but not the one associated with the credit card or phone number we provided. When we left, they tried to charge us for 3 nights when we only stayed for two. The fact is their reservation system is basically on index cards. Oh and when they cleaned the bathroom they didn't put the mat back right leading to one of us taking a terrible fall in the bathtub. We reported it, but they didn't seem to care. Overall the problems here are not made up by the great location. I'd rather drive a few minutes to the beach.
