My boyfriend surprised ME with a stay at SeaSpray Inn even though it was his birthday. We had drinks at the tiki bar with very friendly bartender, Kelly, and then had a delicious dinner at Top of The Spray which is their rooftop restaurant. Later we danced on our balcony which overlooked the tiki area where the DJ was playing. The room had been tastefully remodeled recently, although the tub area was still outdated. The bed was comfortable and the staff at the restaurant, Ruben and Theresa, bar and hotel were all outstanding. We only stayed one night but enjoyed every minute!

We decided to make reservations for New Year's Eve because the food was delicious and booked an 8:30 seating with two other couples. It was a chilly night, but they did bring over two heaters upon request. The food was again outstanding, however, on a night where reservations were made a week in advance, they ran out of bread, baked potatoes, and vegetable soup. Our soup, (wonderful clam chowder) came after dinner was served and we had to request it. After dinner when we asked for coffee, at first we were told that they had already shut down the machine. However, after the waiter made a request, we were able to get some coffee with our dessert. We were disappointed and felt embarrassed because we brought friends from out of town, but overall, everyone enjoyed the food. We will visit the hotel and restaurant again, but not for New Year's Eve.

Room Tip: room with a balcony facing the ocean

The hotel is a little outdated, but its quiet, it is right on the beach. For my husband and I it was just what we were looking for. A quiet little hotel, on the beach, with a restaurant/bar on the premises. If we wanted a beach on the hotel with hopping night life we would have gone to South Beach.

There are a lot of things that went right with this hotel. The beds are nice, the view from my room was gorgeous, the pool seemed pretty nice. However, the wifi didn't work from my room unless you sat against the door (and even then it was weak) and there were 4-6 different wifis when you did have one so it was hard to figure it out. Also, all vending machine stuff costs 1.25$. The soda comes in 16.9 oz bottles so be prepared. But it was a really nice hotel!

My wife and I stayed here for a nice little weekend getaway and it was perfect. This hotel was clean and quiet with friendly staff and on a nice location on the beach.
This hotel is not fancy (sorry management) but what it lacks in style it makes up for it with its location to the beach and walking distance to restaurants.
The bed was comfy with nice sheets and the pool was small, but pleasant to wade in after a day of snorkeling.
From the hotel are restaurants that are a six minute walk.
Don't judge this hotel by its cover, stay here and enjoy a nice weekend.
