Nice place with a nice view. This is not on the gulf side of the street but from our front door & window it had a nice view of the coast. The pool is across the street with a restaurant both offering nice coastal views. The backside had a nice lagoon view. The toilet worked once we figured out you had to hold the handle down almost the entire time it flushed so an update to the plumbing would probably help. Otherwise staff was very polite and friendly. Would stay again. Restaurants, the beach and shops were all nearby. Hopefully the road construction will be completed soon.

I don't know where that photo came from, but it is NOT this place. The room is cheaply thrown together. Furniture is old and worn. A bug crawled out from under the throw on the bed. The door does not seal tightly, and sound, light, and other things (apparently) come right in. Even though I did not use the Groupon that was available, I guess, and paid extra for the Gulf side, we were given a room on the 2nd floor next to the elevator. (Two old folks on New Year's Eve.) The photos and description make it seem like the beach is in front of the building right across the street. In reality, the beach and pool are across the street behind other hotels. Stick with brand names is my advice.

Unfortunately the room was very dark and dingy not enough lights in the room, shower had no curtain, carpets are stained, over all feel was dusty and dingy...Only blessing was it was the location Great location staff was very friendly especially the girl at the front desk ( from Jamaica)

The first room we received smelt really badly of cigarette smoke, so after we moved to another room (staff were great about it), the room had all your basics. Great comfy beds, great aircon and a tidy clean bathroom. The beach is literally right across the road, only a short walk away which I loved. The breakfast definitely does need improving, only had oats, muffins and fruit on offer, I would go elsewhere for breakfast. However overall the room itself was quite nice.
