Went on a friends recommendation. Glad we went. Food was of sufficient portions and was cooked right. Wanted to go back for other meals but bridge construction had us make other plans. Bridge work is now done. Recommend. Call ahead to make sure their credit card machine is working...when we went it was cash only.

Love the 'ambiance' and we have been here many times. Brought 5 visitors for a first time for them and us in 2018. Service was very good, attentive, place was busy but the food seemed average, nothing special.

That may be more due to the heavy cornbread coating on the calamari and oysters, which i think eliminated the flavors.

Fish tacos were rated excellent. Shrimp diane looked nice, was described as salty to their taste. Grilled amberjack was very good.

So, my turnoff was the coating on the fried oysters. Portions were very ample.

It's a fun place, so give it a try, it's usually busy.

Thank you for the positive review Will. We apologize about the breading. It sounds like the corn meal to flour ratio might have been off a bit. Thank you for being an involved customer. And of course, thank you for your repeat business and bringing your friends to see us. We hope everything's just right on your next visit.

We scoped out this restaurant's menu and decided to give it a try. It's a bit hard to find (2 different GPS got us close but not quite there - think "turn under the bridge.") It was brunch time, and although I was beckoned by the fried green tomato opportunity, I ended up with the crab cake Benedict, which was good, not exceptional, but good. We were offered a complimentary mimosa (and of course we said ... ). Husband had the omelet with sausage and he was quite happy with it. The service was quick and friendly.

Don’t judge by the outside! Inside is an adorable spot with both inside and outside seating. 4 of us enjoyed fish tacos, oyster poor boys, and fried green tomato BLT’s. Special seafood today was amberjack, which was wonderful in my tacos. Server was friendly and efficient. Definitely would come back here again!

We frequent the OBA/Gulf Shores area. Haven’t ventured down into Perdido much but glad we did. Friends had highly recommended. We arrived (at night) really not much to look at. Short wait of about 15 minutes. Hostess got us a glass of wine while we waited - they don’t have a bar and no room anywhere to wait really - We got seated and waiter told us the special and I was all in then. Blackened redfish with crawfish cream sauce with asparagus over cheese grits! Uh yes!!! Husband got the platter and got the shrimp and fish blackened but the soft shell crab and oysters came fried! Oysters were good soft shell crab not so much . Rolls came out first and were hot and delicious! We will be back! Want to do lunch here and have a sandwich or some shrimp. Love to find new places! Fisherman’s corner! Yep will do again!!!
