Spend 2 days here. Very clean, very quiet. Never heard the neighbors. Sleep like a baby, beds were comfy. Had a refrigerator, microwave and little kitchen. Good size room also. Great area, across the street from the AMC theatre.More

This was my second time staying here, at it was less than good. Apparently it’s ok to smoke outside the rooms, they have big ashtrays outside the rooms and people by us were smoking a lot. Also it was very noisy. The variety of breakfast items was lacking too. The whole place looks filthy.
Thank you for being our guest. I'm sorry to hear that you were unhappy with you second stay. I'm not sure what you expect people to do if they are smokers and they can't smoke outside? You can always request an inside room. We have both interior and exterior rooms. Our breakfast is advertised as a light breakfast and it is complimentary. We offer 15 different items including the different drinks. I really think the last comment is very exaggerated, because keeping our property clean is our top priority and we never hear that comment.
At Home Inn Pensacola FL was a good hotel for the $60 dollars I paid. It is about 10-15 minutes ride from the airport. It is located on a long strip of car dealers. Nothing else around walking distance.
What I didn't like: the toilet seat was smaller than the toilet, which it grosses me out. The floor looked a bit dirty.
What I liked: with the exception of the floor, the bathroom looked clean. The counter looked clean, the toilet looked clean, the tub looked clean. Don't confuse clean with new though. The lobby looked just like they show in their pictures. It was nice.
The grounds well maintained.
The breakfast was light, just like they said; however, it was more of what I was expecting. Some of what I saw was 3 types of cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee, water, apple and orange juice, bars.
The hotel does not advertise what they are not delivering, which is a good thing.
I gave it 4 stars because if I went down to 3 stars it would rate average. The hotel is not average for that price. The hotel is good for that price.

Thank you for being our guest and leaving your feedback. We do have AMC 18 theater complex within walking distance and Sam's Fun City (amusement park) and a few restaurants. I will speak to housekeeping about the concerns you had.
I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this was the worst. My motorhome caught on fire so I was displaced for 6 wks. an stayed here. Front desk was nice at first but the longer I was there the worst they treated you. Asked about a weekly rate but every week it changed depending on how busy they were, charged an extra $100.00 per wk. for my cat. The first room we stayed in flooded from the air conditioner so had to move to another room. This room was dirty, crud behind beds, then started getting BUGS in the room. They sprayed but kept getting bugs an said they would call irking, never did. Pool deck was filthy never sprayed down while I was there, the grills were Nasty. Families coming to use the pool on weekends that weren’t even registered there and NO one said anything. All kind of people coming and going (some looked like tweeters) knocking on your door. Police showing up. It was the Pitts of all Pitts. Only decent person there was head of housekeeping, Jackie. She was the Best. People always asking for beer, cigarettes or to borrow money. I’d give this a -5 but it won’t let you. Stay away from this place!!!!
Interesting... we happen to be one of the highest rated, lowest priced hotels on Expedia, Booking.com, Agoda, Priceline in the entire area. The reason this person thinks the front desk clerks treated her mean is because they asked her to follow the rules and not put things in her window, which shouldn't have upset her so much. She happened to have a dog and cat and we always charge pet fees if a guest has pets. The reason she had bugs in her room was because she had animals and food and would not allow house keepers to clean. She only allowed Jackie to bring her clean towels and sheets. We cleaned the room after she left and have had guests in there since she stayed and have not had any complaints of bugs. Our property is professionally sprayed every month. She actually called the police because of getting in an argument with another guest.
I know she has gone through some hard things. It is too bad she has to take her frustrations out on us. We wish her the best!
My flight was canceled so the airlines accommodated my stay. It wouldn't have been my first choice but the rooms were average. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave but no phone. Not a big deal considering nearly everyone has a cell phone. The catwalk was very load when people would pass by. The front desk was welcoming and they do offer breakfast. I did not feel like the rooms were clean however this could be due to the age of the hotel. There is nothing around the hotel so plan ahead, especially if you don't have a vehicle. If I were paying I would have chosen another establishment but it's good for a night stay if that's all your looking for.

Staff is very friendly, the facility is very clean, great upkeep to the grounds, over sized swimming pool & awesome value! This is our go to place during the summer when it's so expensive to stay on the beach. It's worth a little drive!
