Description: McGuire's Irish Pub first opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center. In 1982 McGuire's moves to its current location; Pensacola's original 1927 Old Firehouse. Inside the pub you'll find a turn-of-the-century, New York Irish Saloon themed 615-seat restaurant. We are celebrated for our atmosphere boasting more than One Million signed dollar bills hanging from the ceilings and walls of the Pub. In 1996, McGuire's Irish Pub of Destin opened on beautiful Destin Harbor with the same great food and live Irish entertainment. For the most current Menu's please visit our website.

OMG has to be the first letters out of anyone's mouth who walks into McGuire's. Second is, "I hope they're insured!" There must be somewhere between 4 to 5 million $1 bills hanging on the walls and ceiling, literally anywhere and everywhere they could be stapled. I'm not kidding, look through the pictures on TripAdvisor if you can't believe me. Yes, we found a spot for ours!

Walk around and marvel at the sights of a truly authentic Irish Pub right there in Pensacola proper. Absolutely one of the most incredible restaurants I have ever been inside of.

Then we get to the food, again... look through the pictures of this place (and discount the ones that are so horribly out of focus and dark since I do believe some of the photographers were drunk by the time they were taken)! The plates are huge portions. I had a hamburger that was 3/4 pound of freshly ground beef and a pile of hand cut french fries. It was simply humongous and perfectly cooked medium all the way through. My dad had the Shepherd's Pie and my wife a sandwich that they could not finish off.

They are a beer distiller, onsite, so we had to try a pint, or 2. Oh, and be careful when the need arises from all that beer... the bathrooms are wittingly marked, I witnessed mistakes by 2 others, a male and a female.

OMG, go see and eat for yourself! I can pretty much guarantee... you will be astounded, delighted and satisfied.

Great food and atmosphere! My favorite restaurant in the world!!! No matter what day my birthday falls on - we will make the 3 1/2 hour drive just to eat at McGuire's. Plus the McGuire's 5k is an annual event for us. Their Irish Wakes will knock you on your behind but you will come back up laughing and enjoying life.

Buy you a t-shirt of get one free with one of their great drinks! Don't forget a dollar bill so you can write a message and staple it ANYwhere you like! FUN! Can't wait to go back!

You have to see the place to believe it. They don't take reservations but you'd better come early. The Irish fare is excellent, try an Irish Wake if you dare (in a "dirty" mason jar). Dollar bills everywhere and the Moose head has an interesting outift. Check it out.
