This is a new hotel and so beautiful! The room is spacious with a Keurig coffee maker, small fridge and microwave. We have a room overlooking the Sebastian river with comfortable beds. Our only complaint is that it is a good walk to the historic district; it took us from 20-30 minutes but we took our time and enjoyed the walk. Breakfast is not included but they have a buffet for an extra charge, which was pretty good but not outstanding. The staff is warm and friendly and very welcoming.

We were visiting St Augustine for the Festival of Lights a couples getaway. We were looking specifically for the hotel and not bed and breakfast. But location was very important for us because we didn't want to be parking the car in downtown.
When we arrived we were greeted and checked in. Lobby is beautiful! they have a seating area and a computer desk. They also have a tiny gift shop with local products like hand-made scrubs and soaps - great souvenirs!
We were staying in the second building and i was happy to see that you need a key to get in. We felt very secure. Rooms were great! Spacious and well equipped with everything we needed.
Great perk - you can ask front desk to call you a Trolley or a Red Train shuttle. You will be picked up and taken to the 1 stop where you can purchase tickets and proceed for the tour (or they even sell tickets on the lobby). We left the car at the hotel and took the shuttle to the city where we spent all day. After dinner we just walked back. it was very close. There was a sidewalk all the way and we had no problem at all getting back to the hotel at night. Once you cross the bridge you can see it on the other side. can't get lost.
We got breakfast next day. Selection was good and staff was very attentive. We all found things to eat but my favorite was a cheesy omelet and buttery grits! Mmmmm!
The mattress was rather firm, but i liked it. We had a good night sleep after a busy day. We will definitely be back.

This TRYP hotel is probably the nicest Wyndham property I've visited in many years of staying from Super-8's to Wyndham resorts. Very inviting from the moment you enter the parking lot. Our double queen room was very large, with full bathroom and wet bar, including complementary bottles of water. And the mini-Keurig makes coffeemaking a cinch. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. My only criticism is location; this hotel belongs closer to the historic downtown so it can be an easy walk since not having to drive is one of the attractions of visiting St. Augustine.

Due to a obtaining a great deal from Wyndham group, we stayed a night on the way to our FL vacation destination. This hotel is only a year old and one of only 4 so far in the U.S. The rest, worldwide.
The people and service were excellent. We had a frig that wasn't working and it was replaced promptly with a new cold one!
Our balcony afforded a nice view sailboats and all. Unfortunately we could not enjoy it so much because it was super windy all afternoon and evening. Either short drive, or walking distance (if you like a nice walk) to the water and many sites, including the Fort. Full hot breakfast for a very reasonable price. We would stay there again!

As we drove into town via Ponce de Léon Ave. a beautiful set of buildings caught my attention and I told my husband, look, what a beautiful brand new apartment complex. Then the GPS said we had reached our destination! This hotel is an outstanding addition to St. Augustine. The lobby is bright, well furnished, ample, comfortable and inviting. The common areas were impecable. And when we opened the door to the room: it smelled brand new. What a great feeling. Our room was quite large and I appreciated the fact that it had 4 mirrors for me to use! This is a pet peeve in my travels. The kitchenette area is not only practical but aesthetically presented. It does not feel intrusive nor invades the sleeping section at all. We loved the sofa/lounge area and threw ourselves on it after a fun night out in town. The bathroom was super clean and had toiletries available. The bed was neat, comfortable and we slept like babies. We visit this town often and book the older, historic places but now....in with the new. We will be making TRYP our place of preference during summer or winter. Loved it and didn't want to leave. So glad we gave it a try.
