Lunch with a girlfriend, started with a fruity frozen drink that had some kind of creamy balls in it that turned out to be tapioca! Very different... ordered some type of curry, Thai spicy rice with pork that was wicked spicy and very very good! The dishes can be as mild or hot as you want so don't be afraid of spicy, we ate in the outdoors patio which was a little windy but it was the perfect day for it.
Not the first time I have eater at Sab Cafe. Small with some inside dining and umbrella tables on 2nd Ave. Got a yearning for coconut soup, this time with chicken, and it was delicious!
A summer/spring roll and salad topped off the perfect accompaniment.
Seating is both indoors and outdoors. Server was upbeat and fun. Food came out lightning quick. Super nice staff. Really good pad Thai. What more can you ask for. Oh... Price was quite reasonable and portions more than enough.
wonderful Asian food. No real surprises on the menu here just good food at a small hidden cafe. Prices are a bit high but portions are big so I always share. If you go you must have the Pineapple Fried Rice (comes in a 1/2 of a pineapple!) as it is just delicious! Spring rolls are average. Not much indoor seating, so make sure weather is good so you can sit outdoors.
