First off, you have to know this is family run, not a chain. It is in a low-end strip mall where the real estate is probably reasonable. There are only about 6 tables so I guess most of the traffic is carry out.
The menu appears to be mostly Chinese food with a couple of Thai options. I detected the traditional Vietnamese cooking method in the pork served with my order of Singapore Mi Fun. My acid test is always the egg roll and theirs were perfect. I must try the spring rolls next time.
The remarkable characteristic is the fresh and light touch of the sauces and flavorings in the dishes. Too many Chinese restaurants smother the food in a gooey sauce that ruins the dish. Not here. They also do more with mixed meats than their competition. Pork and shrimp, chicken and pork appear in several dishes as well as offerings of meat with tofu. The vegetarian selections are awesome. They use no MSG and have gluten free options. They have a few dishes made with grouper as well.
