We found this place quite by accident. We wanted something quiet and out of the way and Georgia Boys was recommended by a friend. The motto is "we aren't a 5 Star resort- but we are a 10 star fishing camp" and they are!! We rented a pontoon boat for a 1/2 day and it was very, very reasonable. They had bait, tackle and were happy to tell us some good spots to catch Breem, Catfish and Red fish. We took the boat along the river where we saw alligators, bald eagles, osprey, kite fish and herons. We heard woodpeckers and other birds along the quiet waters. We lost our bait to something three times!! It was exciting!!

At night the " good ole boys" Sat around on the dick swapping stories.

Our accommodations were "old Florida" cottages, but spotlessly clean. SPOTLESSLY CLEAN !!

We found some great places to eat, drink and dance in the evening - but this is an early to bed and get up and go fish'n town. So don't expect to be out after 11:00.

We loved this Fish camp and are buying our kids and grandkids a weekend for a Christmas gift They will love it !!

A bit of advice for visitors: wave back at the people you pass, bring your camera, and plan to relax.

We are coming back in October.

If you stay here,make sure they explain the rules to you before payment. I travel a lot fishing and this is the worst place I have ever stayed .The bed rooms are hot during the day and check to make sure your reservations are correct and you get a receipt for every thing you are charged for. Management not very friendly and will not work with you to resolve problems.
