Clyde's and Costello's is THE in bar when the legislature is in session during March and April.
Located just a half block north of the Capitol on Adams Street, "Clyde's" is a favorite gathering place in the late afternoon for mostly politicians and lobbyists who meet to discuss the day's legislative events over libations and snacks.
As such, much like a zoo, it's a great place for people watching and though you likely won't be aware of it, if you're a Florida resident, deals which will affect your future significantly are likely being cut right before your eyes.
The bar has outside seating and that's the best place to be as you watch the power people glad handing contributors and supporters while scurrying from one cocktail party to another among the bistros and clubs along and across the street.
The drinks are decent and reasonably priced as well.
