4 Rivers is not a traditional sit-down restaurant. You get in the order line, place your order (I ordered brisket). The meat is cut to order and placed on a paper sheet. Next you select your side dishes (I got potato salad and cole slaw). You get your meal and drink cup and you pay at the end of the line. Beverages are self-serve. My brisket was flavorful, but a bit dry (I did ask for it to be cut from the non-fatty end, though). The sides were delicious. The potato salad was among the best I have had at any restaurant. The other members of my family all enjoyed their meals which included pulled pork as well as brisket. My 3 year-old grandson loved the pulled chicken but passed up the mac and cheese. 4 Rivers on Thomasville Road (near Whole Foods and Zoes) is a popular place, especially with young families and college students. There appeared to be many repeat customers. The food is definitely the draw as well as the reasonable price. If you go, you will be well fed and pleased with your meal.
