There are multiple parks that kids can play on, also there is some good fishing. If you want to get a workout there is a great workout path. If you want to go canoeing or kayaking this place has it. Many other things to do. I recommend this park to anyone around.

I happen to enjoy this park a lot. It's pretty large with a variety of amenities. The paths are perfect for running, walking & riding bikes. If you have stroller bound little ones, it's perfect for them as well since the paths are paved. Along part of the paths there are the exercise stations that can be utilized if you're into that. There are playgrounds and there are plenty of covered picnic areas, pavilions & bathrooms. You can usually find people water skiing and see kids riding around the bmx area. You can rent little paddle boats or kayaks. Something for everyone here. Check out their website. We frequented this park weekly while living in West Palm. It's in a pretty good spot, easily accessible right off Forest Hill Blvd, you can easily go between Greenacres, Royal Palm and West Palm. We stop into this park whenever we're in the area visiting.

I walk 2-3 miles most days on the mulch trail (once around is one mile) when it isn't too hot and muggy. My belief is that the mulch track is better for the knees, back and feet. It is a huge, beautiful park with lots of lakes. Boats can be rented, kids can play on the playground, and people ride the many bike trails. There are plenty of sheltered picnic areas. I have seen guided walks which I guess are to check out the many birds and other wildlife. I have also seen guided groups on scooters. I would contact the park for more info on the times those activities are available.
