Lincolnton is a very small town and doesn't offer much for overnight accommodations. But the Cullar's Inn is conveniently located within walking distance of numerous restaurants and cafes. It's just a block from the historical district. There is plenty of parking for RV, semis, other large vehicles. There's a laundromat conveniently located in the parking lot. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

We checked in to room 204 and had a huge bed. Air conditioning was superb. Shower was huge. Towels soft and clean. Room was fresh. Staff was overly helpful. Hardees is a 3 minute walk or 400 yards so breakfast and other meals are easy and inexpensive. The ice machine produces a ton of ice. Everyone was super friendly. I will stay there again and again when I return to this wonderful town. Anyone who wants to visit a true American Town and experience Americana at its best go here. Anyone from France, German or England go here to savior true American hospitalityy at its best. Peter E. Gould SGM Retired US Army

Room tip: First Floor non smoking King size bed.

First time staying here. Rooms need to be up dated. Fridge was rusty along the bottom.
Paint in bathroom ceiling peeling. Hair dryer was not working to well. Air conditioner in room very loud!
Can't say I enjoyed staying at this hotel!

We stayed here for the semi annual Graves Mountain dig in October. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Small mini fridge and microwave in the room. Tv worked well. Nice spot outside to gather with friends and other Rockhounds in the evening. Walking distance to fast food and quick mart. Car wash next to it. Very quiet at night.Close to the mine. Friendly staff.no breakfast but they had good coffee made! We will definitely stay here again!

The view overlooks a carwash and a Hardee's. Upon arrival, the air conditioners we're off, and rooms were must. Our shower had mold on the curtain. The baseboards are dusty, and linens appear to be washed by a standard household machine...a bit dingy. The shower squeals. There is no breakfast, no lobby, and people were gathered in the parking lot until 3:00 a.m. drinking, shouting, and playing loud music. Unfortunately, this seems to be the best place in town. There is no pool, and nothing to do. They expect you to turn the AC off when you leave, and will only clean the rooms if you leave your curtains open...making your belongings visible to all. There is only ice on the first floor, and no elevator. We noticed several elderly and handicapped people housed on the second floor. The office is closed at 10:00, so just hope you don't need anything after that time.

Room tip: Make the drive to Thomason.
