This was catered at a work event & my husband said it was the best mac & cheese he'd ever eaten. He wanted to get some to take home

I stopped in with a group of friends after a morning hike along the nearby Chattahoochee River. The menu is limited (various cuts of beef, pork and chicken and about a dozen sides). Meals can be ordered as lunch (on a bun with 1 side) or dinner (no bun and two sides). After filling our glasses at the drink area (iced tea, soda, or water), we returned to our table. Our meals arrived in about 10 minutes. Portions were generous and served on plastic trays or baskets. Two types of BBQ sauce were on the table in squirt bottles: thin tart "North Carolina" and thicker, sweeter "Kansas City". I had a pulled chicken sandwich, which had been slow cooked, was slightly smoky and very tasty. The macaroni and cheese was bland (some cheddar cheese in the recipe would have helped). One of our party was celebrating a birthday. We were allowed to bring in a home-made carrot cake, and we all sang "Happy Birthday". Other diners joined in, and the staff contributed some banana pudding to the festivities. The staff was very friendly, and accommodating with order changes and adjustments. The restaurant was easy to find in a small shopping center near the intersection of Johnson Ferry and Lower Roswell roads. There was plenty of parking. The decor was informal: an open room with tables and chairs scattered about and two TV screens. The restrooms were clean.

Excellent BBQ and sauce, but could use better selection of sides. Not really crazy about any of them.

I really like barbecue. And I have given this place multiple chances. It's not that it's bad, please don't take me the wrong way. It's just there is a lot better barbecue in other places around Atlanta. Good but not awesome.

Ordered for a large group and only heard rave reviews all night. The meats were all perfectly cooked and juicy. The sides were also really nice. A great place for tasty catering.
