First I must admit that I'm biased to Marriott properties in general and to the Residence Inn brand in particular because having a full kitchen in the suite is always a pleasure and benefit to a hotel stay whether long or short. With that said, this new hotel confirms my preference for the brand. We three adults enjoyed a two bedroom, two bath suite for four nights while in Boise for a family event. The kitchen was great when grandkids came for a snack, and the living room was conducive to late night conversation. The property is new, decorated in a contemporary style and color scheme, and very comfortable. The breakfast is always more than generous with plenty of seating available. The third floor bar and large patio opening from the pool area is open to the public but never crowded during our stay except for a Saturday evening wedding party. All the staff was typically Marriott style helpful and friendly. We did not need a car since our North End family was within easy walking distance. Downtown Boise badly needed more hotel rooms, and now the best has arrived.

Hello AlpacaMama-
I admit that I am also biased to Marriott and the RI brand... and I too think this is one really special hotel. Not only did the designers and architects nail it with the décor, I feel blessed to have such amazing team members to work with every day. We are looking forward to your next trip to Boise! ~Aimee

My wife and I live locally but stayed here while attending a charity event downtown. The location is great for any activities that are happening anywhere in the downtown vicinity. The staff is personable and the hotel is awesome. Rooms are bigger and well laid out. The AC works great, rooms are quiet, and the beds are amazingly comfortable. The roof top bar is a great place to spend the evening! We will keep this as our favorite place for a “staycation” anytime we want to enjoy downtown Boise!

loved it only place I'll stay. The rooms are excellent. they offer a full kitchen and wonderful views. The service was perfect. Front desk people were very polite and efficient. I didn't have to wait to check in or out.

My family of five (kids ages 11, 13, 16) stayed here for two nights while on vacation. We stayed in a 2-bedroom suite and had plenty of space to roam. I'm not sure how old this Inn is, but it seemed brand new! Every single employee was so nice and friendly. There is even a roof top bar/lounge area that was really cool! The location is ideal: plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Boise State University is an easy 20 minute walk from the property. This is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in and, without a doubt, will stay here every single time we are in Boise!

We stayed at The Residence Inn Boise because it was close to the convention center. We ate a few meals in our room as we had a 2-burner stove, a small dish washer, a microwave and an almost full sized refrigerator. Only problem was that there was no hot water to our room except for a short period of time on our second night. By Thursday there was no hot water in any rooms. The fix was made Friday morning, evidently at great expense. There were a few other little things that could have been corrected; i.e., the signs in the elevators. Now that the hot water is back, any stay should be very pleasant. We would stay here again.

Greetings VPMarketing- Thank you for sharing notes about your suite. We love that all of our rooms have the stove tops, microwaves, dishwashers, and fridge's. My deep and sincere apologies for the issues you experienced with the hotel water. Thankfully we have figured out the back up system to eliminate the issue in the future. I hope we have a chance to have you stay with us again in the future. ~Aimee
