My wife and I visited our son and his two sons recently and he selected here for our splurge dinner. We were not disappointed. First, as soon as we arrived the staff rushed out French fries and then pasta for our two grandsons which let the rest of us enjoy a leisurely meal. We really appreciated their flexibility and willingness to deal with the boys’ needs. Our server Katherine was outstanding, very knowledgeable and helpful, and made our experience very enjoyable. The food was delicious too. Thank you Katherine and rest of the staff for a wonderful evening!

Restauranr located downtown Boise in a historic building. Restaurant is basement level. Must be able to use stairs. Service and food were excellent. Salmon, prime Rib and Steak of the day were very good.

We held a dinner business meeting here one evening. The setting is nice. The restaurant is on the lower level (semi-basement) of an older brown sandstone building. The interior walls are sandstone and wood, floors are wood. Consequently, there is nothing to buffer sound. The restaurant was full and a couple of people were enjoying themselves way too much. They could be heard laughing loudly in every corner. The food was good but service was slow, perhaps because it was crowded. This is definitely not the place to go should you desire to converse with your guests.

I had Idaho raised Striped Sea Bass that was cooked to perfection. The croissant bread pudding for dessert was excellent. Very quaint 'cellar'-like atmosphere that felt very cozy. There is outdoor seating as well that would be lovely in nice weather.Very enjoyable evening!

We had an awesome meal, their caesar salad is truly exceptional and add the prawns yum. Lovely ambiance, and our server, - I hope I have this right - Shawn - was outstanding too. They helped up with a hotel even. We were supposed to go back for dinner too but ended up being just too tired and a big drive the next day - WE WILL BE BACK -! and thats a long drive from BC :)
