I love going to this place they’ve always put a little twist on their food. Try the duck. Very good. They also have an extensive wine list and the service is great no waiting for service. Top notch rookie. Rob the owner puts a fabulous menus together

My daughter and I were in the CDA area and were looking at reviews. Satay Bistro had excellent ones but I also asked some locals for reccomendations and Satay came highly recommended. I can’t say how happy we were that we visited Satay Bistro! They were incredibly welcoming even though we didn’t have a reservation. The lobster, sea bass wontons with slaw and a basil sweet and sour sauce were incredible. They cultivate their own herbs on site...... use a purple basil that colors the sauce organically. It’s as beautiful as it tastes. The peanut sauce on the chicken satay was slurp worthy... we even used the pear from the baked Brie to finish it up. By the way, the baked Brie is a decadent treat you cannot miss. The strawberry walnut salad was fresh and perfect. Don’t skip the homemade bread! We had the tagliatelle Bologna with housemade pasta....the pasta is amazing. And last but most definitely not least, the bread pudding with a dark rum glaze and vanilla bean ice cream was absolute heaven...we ate half and the other half will be my breakfast tomorrow morning! Brittany, our server, was the bomb... funny, irreverent, knowledgeable beyond measure about the menu and the wine list. She was a true joy. Everyone we came into contact with was outstanding. Run don’t walk to Satay Bistro for your next meal!

Encountered my 1st ever 4th wedding anniversary with my beautiful wife trying to decide what great eatery we could celebrate at. After deliberation on a very short list of fabulous restaurants, the smart choice was of course, Satay. The wife and i had been there before, loved the atmosphere, exceptional service and food and expected the same. This visit only accentuated our positive feeling about Rob Elder's pride and joy. My bourbon pork chops sizzled with flavor sided with creamy mashed potatoes. Hot tip- what must be requested and savored even if it does not come with the meal is the warmed loaf of dinner bread that melts in one's mouth. Wow. The mini-salad easily fed two so doggie boxes were definitely needed. All of the above was finished off with superior service done right. Keep Satay on your short list of go-to bistros.

Went here for a business dinner with 20 people. A bit crowded, it would have been nicer for either a private room or just more space. The servers were perfect! So attentive and knowledgeable. The food presentation was beautiful and the dishes were good.
