Pork barbecue or chicken barbecue with rice must be a bestseller because it is soooo good! A different way take on barbecues with various options: grilled seafood like fish and squid are also on the menu. Several side dishes to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised with the naked salad (don't forget to ask for the sauce)! Order for takeout as the place is always packed. Noodles are also very good.

I did not know that this place is own by or targeting Asian community in Jefferson Park area. I was very impressed by the selection of fresh fish and seafood. Inside the store I felt like on the bazaar in Thailand. Very good experience!

Good choices for restaurant. Jollibee was a big plus! Plenty of parking. Love the $1 halo-halo. Not a lot of tables and chairs, but not too bad.

This is a large Filipino-oriented supermarket which also provides several in-store eating choices. Along one wall are several stations offering grilled food, noodles, and other Filipino specialties. Our favorite is Jollibee, a chain restaurant which is found all over the Philippines and the western US. Their fried Chicken Joy is a delight. Only problem is, they are packed on the weekend and service can take up to a half hour or more. Well worth the wait.

This is a good place actually.

You can eat good Filipino food and then do some grocery shopping.

Couple recommendations though.
- get the hot stuff like what they serve at Crispy Town or Grill City. Food is delicious is all I can say.
- not so sure if the serving and storing techniques are up to the codes at the food place in the center of the entrance area. Food were on display in serving trays but not sure how long they've been there. The lechon they served looked good but later in the evening, I saw part of it still sitting on the cutting board. They also served halo halo. The ingredients were in containers sitting in ice. Not sure how well the ingredients were kept in temps they needed to be kept in to stay safe. In contrast, grill city and crispy town seemed to have good stored and displayed according the standards
- be prepared to wait during meal times. They don't seem to have enough workers doing the cooking, serving, and running the cash register. At crispy town, one lady took care of a customer who had 5 orders. She wasn't moving with alacrity and dispatch either. Fortunately, there was another lady there who would ring up your order quickly- if she wasn't busy making an order of 5 halo halo.
- prices were reasonable- maybe a bit on the high side- but I don't mind paying for good food.

I'd probably come back here again when I visit Chicago.
