We stopped by twice at our last visit. Why? One part of course is the brilliant view, outside with terrace heating or inside, we enjoyed both. The other part is the relaxing atmosphere, the design, very friendly service. A pretty cool urban bar experience.

Of course the view is amazing. Perfect deftly executed mixed drinks and great whiskey selections. Good vibe.

We were staying in chicago and joined the 10am queue on a Saturday to walked in. Fab isn’t the word. It was sun and we had an outdoor table. Chardonnay with brunch, can’t beat it. Great service and the food was amazing. Crab for Hubble and granola stuff for me, very good. We went back with our niece for lunch a few days later and service @nd food were great again. What a find! thank you.

First, a confession. We came for a drink and ordered food because while they were perfectly nice about it, they wouldn't give us a table for drinks. So our food order was for a few snacks.

This is a must visit place with an atrium 270 degree view and open sky light so the views over the city are spectacular.

It has a penthouse terrace overlooking Millennium park and the lake beyond. In late November they had the gas fires burning. They don't serve out there so there are no seats, but there is a lovely fire-pit table with soft seating.

Our server was attentive and friendly. The goat cheese snack with orange fig jam wes very good. the crispy iceberg lettuce was average and the turkey sandwich, billed as a post thanksgiving inspiration set up the expectation this would be roast turkey. It wasn't, just cold cut turkey. So high expectations were unmet. But the ambience and relaxing seating made up for the disappointing food. So go and relax, it's a great place in winter and must be even more spectacular in daylight and summer.

•Great Service
•Great View (Overlooks Millennium Park/Bean/AIC)
•Great Wine (~$15/glass...Oh but the view!)
•Great Architecture (Be sure to visit the Reception Area of the hotel)

We Declined the Food Menu Since We Had Early Dinner Plans & Stuck to a Quick Drink. Dishes Served to Fellow Diners Looked Wonderful & of Nice Portion Sizes.

Rather Quiet for 1 PM When We Visited—Well Kept Secret? Excellent Respite in a Busy Area of the City. I May Just Regret Leaving a Glowing Review!
