Description: La Casa de Isaac and Moishe’s Restaurant is the second Mexican restaurant established in Highland Park by the Nava family from Huitzuco, Guerrero, Mexico. As family owned and operated establishments, the Nava family has brought some unique Mexican dishes to Chicago’s North Shore. Isaac’s Mother’s Favorite Enchiladas – a recipe developed by their mother, Florencia – continues to be a customer favorite. New specialty items are added continually with an emphasis on local favorites from their home region. The Nava family maintains a strong commitment and loyalty to the community by offering unique Mexican dishes with excellent service. They appreciate the support and patronage of their customers.

Isaac and Moishe created a place that serves delicious Mexican food and also makes guests feel welcome. They're not open on Friday nights due to their Jewish heritage, but the menu is not kosher.

Food and service was outstanding. The margarita was one of the best I have had. The guacamole was fresh and very tasty. We will definitely be back.

I visit this restaurant on and off and I am always pleased with the over all experience. Their chicken vegetable soup is a good option.

Delicious food! We are fans and love the quesadillas! We have been coming to both locations for a few years.....dissappointed that they reworked the pricing for the portobello mushroom quesadillas. Much more expensive.

Casa de Isaac has great, standard Mexican food that reminds me of all the places I love back home in southern California. The chips and salsa were awesome (complimentary, of course), and I inhaled my enchiladas (two chicken and one cheese with verde sauce, with rice and beans). The setting is bright and cheery, and the menu is large with plenty of options- and just remember, no pork here!

Only complaint is that we declined guacamole and our waitress brought us an order anyhow. She might've misunderstood us, but accidental guacamole isn't the worst problem to have.
