Live locally. Stop in here every few years. Not a regular. But stop in once in a while.

This latest experience was simple not good.

This place is a bit of an identity crisis. Cantonese restaurant with modern music playing and the food network broad cast on the big screen. Other decorations are eclectic but not in a consolidated way. Decor is fragmented.

Big tree like plant blocks the waitress stand so the staff seems to hide or disappear back there. Mixed chairs and old tables.

Just not at all cohesive Decor.

Food. Uneventful. Egg rolls that reviews rave about are okay. Rather starchy though. Surprisingly had to ask for sweet sour and hot mustard.

Entrees seemed expensive to me as they are not served with anything. Just rice. No soup included.

Veggy delight not great. Thin sauce tasted like the liquid from a can of water chestnuts. Kind of watery.

Real disappointment is the wait staff. Need serious training and professionalism. Brought sweet and sour after I asked l. in dispensers that were crusted over from the night before. Gross. Owner took them and I just imagined them getting wiped off behind the big tree. They came back to the table cleaner but still cruded over and greasy on top. Yuck.

Owner refilled water glasses but the lazy way just pouring from picture on the table. Splashed all over. My son got ice water all over his entree. I got ice water all over my side of the table.

Waitress refillled glasses another time. This time held the glasses by the very lips of the glasses where people drink from. Gross again.

Staff didn't engage well with people. I realize it's part time work probably but the owners should train the people on proper and safe food handling and some reasonable polite engagement with customers.

Service really slow and spotty.

Professional attire would be appreciated. Size 18 yoga pants should not be appropriate wait staff attire in my opinion.

Food just okay. Expensive for what you get. Food safety questionable. Wait staff desperately needs training and professionalism.

Great friendly atmosphere and wonderful food. Doreen makes you feel welcome. The satay beef is my favorite. Happy our food and drink specials daily. It's the only Chinese restaurant that has chocolate fortune cookies.

We have been going to this restaurant for many years to enjoy the food and friendly service. Best egg rolls ever!!
Large portions and varied menu selections. My grandkids love the food and service. The updated decor is welcome and the bar service offers wide variety. Consistently great food to eat in or take out.

I thought the quality of the food and service was poor. They push drinks, but I am not a drinker. Do not plan to return.
