We spent 2 great days at Bonito Bay! Russell, the owner, does not treat you just like a customer but also as a friend. We felt part of the Bonito Bay family since the very beginning. Bungalows have everything you'll need and are 3 minutes walking distance from the beach. The views are stunning and you can watch whales from the pool in the evenings. If you are in Morrungulo, this is the place to be!

We stopped here for 2 nights with our On the Go tour. A bit of a tough place to get too but was worth it. We went just as the Mozambique conflict was ending so all activities weren't running and bar wasn't stocked. Only a few beers, soft drinks and basic spirits. Any other time (when the conflict has stopped) this place would have received 5 stars.

Resort grounds were very pretty, clean and well maintained. Rooms very clean and comfortable.

We loved the pool/bar area and spent the entire day sun baking and swimming. The pool was an amazing 3.5 metres deep.

Well done with simple rustic elegance. Superb value for the money and arguably one of the most beautiful and tranquil beaches in southern Moz. There was hardly a soul on the beach and great swimming. Staff were quite friendly. Unfortunately, communication with the resort beforehand was very challenging. We had difficulty contacting them to make a reservation, received no responses on several attempts and eventually were misquoted on price. Our primary reason for visiting was for the diving, but our attempts to make dive arrangements ahead of time fell flat. On good faith, we assumed that we could sign up for dives upon arrival. However, the dive centre, Scuba Galaxy, was unstaffed and closed. We were told by hotel staff that they were "on their way from Maputo", but three days later the dive master still hadn't arrived. Very disappointing. A wonderful setting and hotel, but be certain of your dive arrangements beforehand.

Bonito Bay is a perfect resort in the middle of nature but still close to the small villages. The beach is beautiful. In 1 minute you are at the beach where Clint and Russel are most willing to learn you how to drive a jetski! Or go diving! You can take a walk or just relax at the beautiful pool. For the sportive guests there is a possibility to play volleyball or table tennis. We had a wonderful time! thank you Clint and Russel and all other staff who made our stay perfect!

I can recommend a stay at Bonito Bay to everyone!
