Stayed at Ambre for 13 nights this month and dined in here for 10 of them...says a lot. Relaxed atmosphere, fantastic choice of food in both the all inclusive option or add some rupees and have lobster...which we did!
Wednesday and Saturday is a set menu with options and other evenings a la carte with meat, fish, pasta and pizza options. Menu is changed weekly so if there for 2 weeks you get a good variation.
Daram is the food and beverage manager and a true gentlemen and under him he has the best staff in the hotel including Ashok and Smita who were true professionals and couldn't do enough for us. They helped make it a very memorable holiday for us both. Thankyou

Had lunch here during our stay at ambre Hotel. Good pasta choices both seafood and ham. There are also pizzas. Saladbar could been better. The fussili I had was delicious, so was the calamari spaghetti my wife chose also. Staff kind and great service.

Our first visit to this restaurant was a little disappointing, the steak that my partner ordered was virtually indestructible, granted we did not have a steak knife, but even still, we saw the funny side. This was brought to the head chef’s attention without our knowledge and very soon he appeared at our table very concerned and very apologetic. He requested that we return which we duly did two days later.

Our second (and all subsequent visits) resulted in some of the best meals we had the pleasure to enjoy at Ambre Resort and a few were some of the best meals we have ever had worldwide. My partner wittingly commented, Chef Bruneau is just showing off now to prove exactly what he could do in the kitchen, and indeed he did. We enjoyed unprecedented service at every visit, nothing was too much trouble or effort for Wendy and Avisen. We cannot recommend Dolce Vita high enough, Chef Bruneau is an absolute star in the kitchen.

This restaurant is at the Ambre hotel and included as part of our all inclusive holiday. Yes you do have to book in the morning if you want to eat there in the evening but this was never an issue and we never struggled to get a table. At lunch no reservation is required.
The lunch menu includes salad and bruschetta Buffett starter and a choice of pizza or pasta off the a la carte, a choice of dessert. The pizza were thin and light, freshly baked to order and declared the best he had ever eaten by my husband. The pastas were nice but not extraordinary. Desserts however were presented beautifully and tasted delicious. We are still unsure what exotic flavour was one of the sherbets that we tried but delicious none the less.
The evening menu was all a la carte and had several options. All good apart from the steak which sadly was tough. This could have reduced my overall review score but the service from Aaliyah was so good, friendly and humorous that anything less than a five would be unfair.

We have such enjoyed eating in the Dolce Vita every night of the holiday. The food has been world class, tasty and superbly cooked whether a steak, lobster or chocolate dessert. The shell fish were so well cooked they were still fleshy and moist and full of flavour. Silver service done with no fuss, gentle but efficient. We loved every meal. Thanks
