This place is exactly what it says. A roadside Inn with basic rooms. It's clean, tidy, budget and child friendly. Connected to The Old Bell Pub it is a good stop off point if travelling. Nothing fancy just a bed, shower, tea facilities.

When we arrived, the receptionist changed the room for us so that we could be on the ground floor, which was nice.

However, when we got to the room, there was a strong smell of stale urine. We decided that this was coming from the bathroom, so closed the door on it, and the smell disappeared somewhat.

Next morning, we opened the bathroom door -and almost passed out due to the disgusting smell. This meant that we couldn’t use the bathroom at all.

The receptionist was apologetic -but there was nothing to be done by that point. He said that there was nothing more that he could do, but gave us details on how to complain to head office - which we will be doing.

Stayed here 3 times over the last month, located 10-15 minutes away from my customer based on UOR campus so nice and convenient.

Standard premier inn really, comfy bed, large flat tv and fast wifi if you pay for the Ultimate Wifi.

Best bit by far though is the boozer next door which is really nice and the staff all very friendly.

The food was very good and prompt service too which you can tell from the number of locals eating there....I will definitely be back.

Would be 5 star but no Becks on draft nor fancy Costa coffee machine for breakfast but that is a minor point.
