Lovely staff, yummy food, good portions and all at a great price. Went twice during a week long visit to the area and couldn't fault it.

We live locally and compare fish and chip shops. Frydays was recommended by friends and we booked and ate inside. We were not disappointed the chips were beautiful ( not greasy ) the fish ( choice of size ) was cooked in a delightfully light batter. The table was served by a young lady who was comfortable in Welsh and English, important in area promoting tourism and a knowledge of the area.
We go to a fish and chip shop to eat fish and chips so we cannot speak for alternative food on offer. It is a busy shop, which is a testament to their popularity, so it is usual to find a queue . The eating area is not spacious the tables are close to each other and it is a very personal experience , we liked the cosy nature . It is important to book a table.
We will return to eat in or takeaway as long as the quality is maintained and judging by the quality of staff and management we are sure it will be.

This is the best fish and chip shop in North Wales, very generous portion of fresh crispy chips and a large fresh, lightly battered fish made to order, simply wonderful, other fish and chip shops pale into insignificance, no dry, toenail chips here, or tiny fish portion beefed up with batter, it's excellent, tartare sauce and a slice of lemon are a nice finishing touch, I travel 20 miles to go there, well worth it if you want the best.

Regularly use Frydays and have not been disappointed once! Great food, great service and the staff are superb. Better than Rick Steins in Padstow by miles!

I have had a Beef & Ale pie. You have got to try one, you must, even if your experience of pie's from a "chippy" has put you off. Don't be put off any longer. The pie was easily the best (and I have had a few) I have tasted. The week before I had chicken & mushroom, that was also first class, I could not believe the standard would be the same, be assured, it is. Over all, this has to be the friendliest, best value and 5star fish and chip shop in Wales. Fish is brilliant too. Thank you.
