Not many places offer blue gill dinners so we jumped at the chance when we learned that Pete's Tavern had it. It was crowded and noisy (typical small town bar) but they did have a family room. Service was friendly and the blue gill portions were generous. Worth the trip.

The food and atmosphere are always really good. Live music with local artists in the evening is a nice way to break up the week.

To be honest, we wanted to stop at Fippin Cow down the street, but it was crazy busy. The restaurants were having a Poker game night. (this was a Thursday night.
So Pete's it was. The food was fine. Staff was great. They were busy and let us sit in the bar area even with kids, as the other areas were full. Bar atmosphere with TVs all around. The broasted chickn was ok. A little dry. The kids had burgers, chicken strips and my hubby had a tenderloin. All good

Came in here for a fun time with friends and the staff was so rude to everyone we just couldn't stand it and left. The old guy behind the bar must be GOD ( the owner). And was just being downright rude and obnoxious. Never go back here again!

They offer broasted chicken which I order and found it to be a good choice. Crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. The staff is very friendly and treat you like you go there every day. The place fills up fast and unfortunately they do not take reservations. Go early. Take outs are available. Good beer on tap.
