The wife and I ate here on a Sunday night after a movie and stopover at the nearby Sun King tasting room. We chose here because of the proximity and the positive reviews.
The décor is loud and fun with many interesting pictures on the walls and ceiling. The ambience was very casual in-between a Taco Bell and a sit down Mexican restaurant.
You order at the counter where the staff are helpful and willing to customize things. The food was delivered in an expeditious fashion.
The tortilla chips were thin, crispy and plentiful. My "Bangin' chicken tostados" were moist and chock full of meat. The wife's fish salad was spiced up for her and had excellent flavor. The prices were very fair.
The real star of this restaurant is the hot sauce bar where you can choose from about a dozen different offerings. They ranged from sweet to smoky and from mild to tear-inducing in multiple combinations.
The other star of this restaurant is the beer (including crafts and the usual Mexican suspects) were just $2. This was significantly cheaper than the exact same beer next door at the brewery.
Overall, this is an excellent choice for quality Tex-Mex food in a casual setting and an exceptional value, especially if you would like a cervaza or dos.
