From the moment you walk into Abuelo’s it is a feast for your eyes. There are so many choices on the menu and the prices are $$$. You will be so happy that you took the time to go to an authentic Mexican Restaurant, with large portions and chips and salsa are bottomless. Thank you for such a pleasant experience and each server works so hard to keep your table clean and fill your drinks.

To start the endless chips and salsa are very good. The chips are light and you get three salsas. They have a large selection of margaritas. I got the 1800 hand shaken margarita which was big and very good. I ordered the steak fajita tacos which were delicious and quite large. You will not leave hungry! It is a very nice looking restaurant with a center section where the ceiling looks like you are looking up at the sky. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant has a bar with a general seating area as well as the main restaurant area. Definitely ask to be seated in the latter if you are looking to experience the Abuelo's ambiance along with the food.It is charming.

The waitress was very helpful in recommending dishes that fit my needs. If you happen to be one of those who can't eat a lot of spice, order items with their cream sauce, which is absolutely delicious.

I tried the shrimp enchiladas. Turns out they are new on the menu. They were served in light crepes, not tortillas, and very well presented, not to mention quite yummy.

Service was good; the manager even came around to check on the tables. I would definitely dine here again if in the area.
