We spent four nights here with family. Kids loved the lake inflatables. We rented a paddle boat one afternoon and a fishing boat. Love being lakefront and the pull in site that had a full lake view through the front window of our class A motorhome. The sites were good sized. Our had a nice picnic table. It is the first time we have stayed there so it was kind of weird to have your neighbor facing you. Never seen a setup like that before. The shower house was spacious and very clean. I did not use the laundry so I can't comment on that. The grounds are well kept. The area the we were in we're nice grassy sites. I don't like the other reviews complaining about road noise because if you book a campground next to a major highway and expect there not to be road noise you're a bit goofy. We were not able to hear the noise inside of the camper. This is nothing that the campground can fix. We booked again for next weekend to take our other grandkids.

We had a lake-side spot which was nice....however...... yes there is 'alot' of road noise but hello you're right next to I-65 so that's to be expected. The speed limit is 5 mph and there were people driving faster than that plus golf carts speeding down the drive so there was white dust everywhere. We were between a group that had 5 campsites (1 to the right and the rest to our left) and you would think that people would have MANNERS....they passed to the other groups site by walking right thru our site each and every time - they obviously had no consideration for others. The beach area looked nice for the kids but we didn't visit. We may be back & if so hope for nicer neighbors that are more considerate. This campground looks like they have quite a few seasonals and those that live there during the week for work as many were gone over the weekend. The wifi was great but the cable was horrible. As for the fully stocked store - not the case....so don't forget anything or you're driving into town.

Yes there is noise...you are right off the highway but you know that going in. Front office staff very helpful. Our site was clean, easy pull-thru, nice grassy area and a few trees. Amenities looked great, we did not use, but it looked like folks were enjoying the water. Used our Good Sam's card for a discount...$41 for the night...no complaints.

I wish I would have done my own reservations for this Campground, but they were done by a group of men traveling for work. The owner of this Campground is not available very often and when she is available, she is rude and demanding. She is disrespectful of other's things. She has a list a mile long of mandated rules but doesn't follow half of them herself. She charges double of what Tractor Supply charges for Propane, so many people started hauling their small tanks to town. When they are filling your propane, there is not a warning, so if you are cooking, your dinner was just ruined. Electric bills were sky high here for every single camper, between $80- $250, our concerns were addressed with her and she blew them off. There are 3 washers and dryers. Two of the washers are often out of order. The dryers often have to be ran twice to dry your clothes. And that is if the owner's family belongings are not left in the machines. This Campground is right off Hwy 65 and the traffic (semi after semi) never stops, it is the most noisy place in the middle of the night that I have ever stayed at. Sleep for everyone on the side of the highway is mediocre at best and that is with ear plugs. Don't plan on getting mail here, you will not get it unless it is a large package.

My husband and I camped here this Memorial weekend and after spending two out of three nights we were done. It is not for people who want peace and quiet. It is for groups and families to come with their kids and have a lot of fun! The activities, water slides, dunk tanks, paddle boats etc. would make any family get away fun for all. We camped across the lake from the freeway and still were quite bothered by the noise. Having said that, if you brought kids and observed the great time they were having you probably wouldn't notice the noise. We went back to our home in the country and enjoyed the peace and tranquility in our backyard:)
