6 of us went for lunch. We all ordered off the $5 lunch menu. All of us really raved. My pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal! Lots of food for $5. Others had the cheeseburger and the black bean burger. The atmosphere is definitely a tavern.

My husband and I are in our 50's. We walked in around 7 on a Friday evening and there were maybe 10 people in addition to employees. Waitress greeted us with the type of soft drinks they serve! We asked for a beer list but they were changing the taps and had a limited selection. Waitress tried to convince my husband that Yuengling was an IPA! As a side I ordered onion petals and was informed that the dipping sauce was very spicy. (btw it was not) Felt like we were being treated like 80 somethings not 50 somethings. If you are over the age of 35 you may want to go somewhere else!

Amazing food. The chicken and waffles are absolutely amazing as well as the homemade sweet potato tator tots. The owner is very friendly and made our dining experience wonderful. Can't wait to make this our new favorite hangout.

I'd go back - visited on a snowy slow day as a walk-in on the spur of the moment after seeing the $5 lunch sign .

No staff in sight & only one table occupied when we first walked in , so we grabbed a menu from an empty table & seated ourselves.

The good cheer of the other diners as they welcomed us & their obvious delight in inviting us to take a seat & the tasty options on the menu were what kept us from turning around.

The friendly table service we got sometime later & the tasty food will draw us back, some items on the menu weren't avail on the snowy, slow monday we dined, but we'll seek them out on a future visit based on how much what we had today satisfied, plus the stage looks like it can host some great live music .

Unfortunately, this is a bit of a hidden secret, but the food is great.

The restaurant/bar is a bit dark and the menu is also printed on dark paper, which makes it a little hard to read, but just look for the $5 specials on the table. I've had the cheeseburger and the chicken tenders - both great. Friends have had the black bean burger and pulled pork sammy and also said they were very good. Everything seems to be freshly made (not frozen burger patties or processed chicken)
