Overall the house would make a great holiday let, the house is quirky and the original features are nice. There's a decent size kitchen, lounge and dining area and the bedrooms are a good size. There is enough room for two couples and two or more small children.

The cleanliness of the holiday let is very poor. Please take a look at the pictures I have attached. The kitchen appliances were in a very dirty state including the fridge which had spillages in it. On arrival we let the owner know that there were issues with the level of cleanliness.

The owner did not show much concern regarding the state of the appliances as well as the draining board which was dirty and slimy. So we headed out to Aldi which is not too far away and cleaned what we needed and left the rest. This is something that you shouldn't have to do. The floor tiles and wooden floors appear that they have not seen a mop for a while.

A used condom packet was also found in the bedroom that my parents-in-law were staying in. Thankfully, it was not found by my young children. This was the last straw for us, so we left as soon as possible without completing our family break. Very disappointed.
