Enjoyed this pizza despite it being thin-crust. Had jalapeno, tomato and mushroom, sausage, and saurkraut. We are not big fans of chunk sausage, being from the Quad Cities, but husband said it was okay. I thoroughly enjoyed the other three and look forward to going back again. Considering the pizza doesn't have much heft, it is kind of pricey.

We're always take out of town guests. The "palace special" is the way to go. If you live in the area and haven't been here, head over today!

Pagliai's has convenient parking, friendly and efficient service, and a nice clean environment. There is nothing but thin crust pizza on the menu, so don't expect a salad or an appetizer. Beer, wine, and soft drinks. Pizzas are assembled in the front of the house so you can watch while you wait. The pizza is very good. Highly recommend the Palace Special.

Been coming to Iowa City for a couple of years. Sometime in 2017 Pagliai's showed up on my radar and I was able to get there late in 2017. Beer and wine only. The staff was busy but never felt like I was waiting. The decor is ok and if you're looking for white linen, this isn't your place. If you are looking for good, honest pizza, give it a try.

Pagliai's is still the best thin crust pizza ever. I been eating there since 1977. It's all about fresh ingredients and the sauce spices.
