I had a very good stay and people made me feel welcome and hotel was clean and tidy and gave me enough tea and coffee only down fall I found the mattress and pillows hard and uncomfortable apart I would book again because it's good money for value

Value for money and very close to the town. Near by Starbucks and other supermarkets. Very convenient and good accebelity with free car park for guests. Booked through travelodge website
We visited for leisure to go to the theatre the reception team were welcoming on arrival but the room was a little small for an adult and 2 teens. There was only 1 plug on the desk and I have sleep equipment for an illness so I had to move a childs bed and sleep accross the room just so it would reach and the beds were uncomfy but we really enjoyed the theatre and trip to canterbury so we were happy
At £68 for two nights, this clean and warm lodge is excellent value. It is on the main A229 close to Whitstable, where accommodation attracts premium prices. A no-fuss option, friendly staff. No coffee table in the rooms.
The price was fantastic.
CONVERSELY:- the carpets in room and corridors were disgusting, the water in room was luke warm, the room stunk of smoke on arrival (the cleaners should have reported that to management). Also, no restaurant (I knew this before I booked).
Stay overnight as I was visiting family in the area the hotel was great the staff was friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do any more to help if needed I had a lovely chat with the manager in the morning and she was lovely I will 100% be using this hotel every time I’m in the area in the future
